Insurance & Payment
I am an out-of-network provider and do not participate directly with insurance companies. Payment is due at the time of each session. Upon request, I am happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, I recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to ask about coverage for outpatient mental health services. Helpful questions to ask include whether you have out-of-network benefits, what your deductible is, the percentage your plan reimburses after the deductible is met, and whether there is a limit to the number of sessions covered. Reimbursement amounts and timelines vary by plan, and I encourage clients to confirm these details directly with their insurance provider.
Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about payment or need help understanding this process. I know navigating insurance can be confusing, and I’m happy to clarify where I can.
Fees
I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to help us determine whether we’re a good fit and to answer any questions you might have.
Individual therapy sessions are $160 for 55 minutes. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available based on financial need.
Longer or extended sessions can be scheduled as appropriate, with fees discussed in advance.

Session Frequency & Structure
Therapy sessions are typically held on a weekly basis, with each session lasting 55 minutes. In my experience, meeting weekly helps build momentum, create consistency, and allows you to begin noticing progress more clearly. As therapy continues and goals are met, we may decide together to shift to biweekly or monthly check ins, depending on your needs and what feels most supportive.
At times, we may also jointly agree to schedule longer sessions for specific treatment needs, such as exposure-based work that takes place outside of the office or within the community. These sessions are always planned in advance and discussed collaboratively, so expectations are clear and aligned.
Cancellation Policy
Because therapy sessions are reserved specifically for you each week, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer that time to another client when possible.
If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the fee is 50% of the session cost for the first late cancellation. A second late cancellation will be charged the full session fee.
I also understand that illness, family needs, and unexpected situations do arise. This policy is meant to provide structure and consistency, not to be rigid or punitive. If something comes up, we can talk about it. These are ongoing conversations, and I approach them with flexibility and understanding whenever possible.
My goal is to balance respect for everyone's time while keeping this a supportive and collaborative space.
Good Faith Estimate
If you are paying out of pocket and not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of therapy services under the No Surprises Act. This estimate outlines the anticipated fees based on the number and frequency of sessions we plan together.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before starting services or during treatment. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
